Numerous NEPS members came to take part in the two-day workshop by Tenko Raykov, Ph.D., who gave a broad overview of the classification of missing data, previous methods and proposals for new methods of dealing with incomplete data records in future. Alongside the Full Information Maximum Likelihood Method, the Multiple Imputation had the highest priority. Participants discussed the advantages and disadvantages of both procedures and were able to reconstruct the practical implementation of each method directly in the users' training room. Mr Tenko Raykov, Ph.D., visits the National Educational Panel Study regularly, thus allowing NEPS members to benefit generously from his methodical knowledge.
