The annual meeting of people from the engine room of the German-speaking survey landscape will take place this year from the 15th to the 17th of April at the Leibniz Institute for Educational Trajectories (LIfBi) in Bamberg, organized by the team of the Centre for Study Management. SLOW brings together experts from the operational level of study implementation to discuss current practical topics ranging from questionnaire development to data preparation, sampling, record linkage, data protection, field management, incentivization, contracts and tenders. One focus of this year's workshop is the topic of "Digital study management: tools and practices".
This year's thematic block "Digital Study Management: Tools and Practices" focuses on digital tools that are currently used in the management of complex study designs. To this end, inputs on digital tools and their roles, possibilities and content will be given in the form of keynote speeches, and best practice examples will be presented and discussed. The aim of this exchange is to learn from each other how study management is and can be supported by digital tools and, if necessary, to initiate joint further development or use of tools and practices.
At SLOW, the discussion topics are introduced by the participants themselves at the beginning of the workshop, so that everyone has the opportunity to shape the workshop according to their interests and current developments in the survey landscape. This year's SLOW is being organized by staff from the Leibniz Institute for Educational Trajectories (LIfBi).
