New Scientific Use File of Starting Cohort 5 (First-Year Students) released

New data for the NEPS Starting Cohort 5 are now available in version 10.0.0 for scientific use.

The current Scientific Use File (doi:10.5157/NEPS:SC5:10.0.0) contains newly added information from the tenth survey wave among the higher education students cohort. In the course of this CATI survey in summer 2016 the main focus was on biographical developments in several areas of life. An additional question module was asked to students or graduates of teacher education (LAP oversample). With the release at hand, the data structure of the Scientific Use File has been slightly adjusted. Please refer to the Release Notes on our website in the section „Documentation“ for details. Besides other material you can find the Field Reports and the soon to be published Data Manual with comprehensive information about the survey design and the research data of Starting Cohort 5.
