The current Scientific Use File of NEPS Starting Cohort 3 (doi:10.5157/NEPS:SC3:7.0.0) contains new data from a competence test in the English domain as well as survey data from pupils of Grade 10, from their respective class, German and math teachers, and school principals (Wave 7, PAPI, 2016). Additional survey data come from telephone interviews (CATI) and supplementary online interviews (CAWI) with those target persons who have left the initial NEPS school (school changers and school leavers). Detailed information about the survey design of Starting Cohort 3 is provided in the respective “Field Reports” and the “Study Overview” on our website in the section “Documentation”.
