The current Scientific Use File (doi:10.5157/NEPS:SC4:15.0.0) contains the newly added data from the fifteenth survey wave of the Ninth-grader Starting Cohort of the National Educational Panel Study (NEPS). The field period ranged from September 2022 to May 2023. The two-part survey consisted of a telephone interview (CATI) focusing on biographical information and a subsequent online survey (CAWI) on various cross-sectional topics. Participation in the online survey was not possible without prior telephone interview. Competence testing did not take place in this survey wave.
