In June 2015, the shareholders’ meeting of the German Centre for Research on Higher Education and Science Studies (Deutsches Zentrum für Hochschul- und Wissenschaftsforschung DZHW) appointed Prof. Dr. Monika Jungbauer-Gans as new Scientific Director. She takes up her work on September 1.

Previously, Prof. Dr. Monika Jungbauer-Gans had been involved in the NEPS Consortium through the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU), where she held the Chair of Empirical Economic Sociology. Due to her new position as Scientific Director of the DZHW, she is taking over the Professorship for Empirical Higher Education Research and Science Studies at the Leibniz University Hannover. The Leibniz Institute for Educational Trajectories wishes her all the best for her future tasks!
