NEPS informed the “Oberfrankenstiftung” (Upper Franconian Foundation)

In order to keep in touch with organizations, public authorities and institutions, the NEPS visited the “Oberfrankenstiftung” in Bayreuth on July 4, 2011 for informational purposes.

Dr. Jutta von Maurice, Manfred Egner and Wolfgang Hoderlein informed the Managing Director of the “Oberfrankenstiftung”, Mister Eckhard Wiltsch about the National Educational Panel Study, also discussing the fact that the location of the NEPS in Bamberg is vitally important for Upper Franconia as a research location. In consequence, the discussion partners agreed on the fact that ensuring this project and its location, to last longer than 2013, has to be a general and overall interest of Upper Franconia.

The “Oberfrankenstiftung” is a beneficiary foundation which also provides substantial financial support to science and research projects.
