The committee's 24th meeting took place on April 29-30, 2021, in an online format and was hosted in the context of the KonsortSWD project. With Dr. Daniel Fuß, head of the LIfBi Research Data Center, the institute provides one of the two chairs of the committee. Together with Tatjana Mika from the Research Data Center of the German Pension Insurance, also chair of the panel, and Friederike Schlücker, who coordinates the committee at LIfBi, Daniel Fuß moderated the two-day event. The agenda included, among other things, the cooperation with the individual projects of KonsortSWD, the discussion of new rules of procedure, and the vote on an application for the accreditation of a new research data center. In addition, there was a presentation on the collection of anti-discrimination data and a thematic session on metadata and DOI registration.
The Committee for Data Access supports the collaboration of research data centers to secure and further improve the availability of research data for the social, behavioral, and economic sciences in the long term.
