No other conference in the world attracts such a large number of scientists from the field of educational research as the congress of the American Educational Research Association, which took place in Philadelphia this year with over 14,000 participants in attendance. LIfBi was represented as an exhibitor by its Director, Prof. Dr. Hans-Günther Roßbach, and Executive Director of Research, Dr. Jutta von Maurice, who during many conversations with scientists from all over the world gave information about the analytical potential of NEPS. Furthermore, as part of the Annual Meeting Program, Tobias Linberg presented the results of a study based on NEPS data about inequalities in preschool education in Germany and the USA. LIfBi’s appearance at AERA 2014 helped to increase awareness of NEPS data among a growing number of researchers.
