For the seventh time, LIfBi invites the scientific community to an international NEPS conference. The NEPS conferences of the Leibniz Institute for Educational Trajectories (LIfBi) bring together researchers from different disciplines and at different stages of their scientific careers to discuss current projects in educational research. The thematic framework is provided by the National Educational Panel Study (NEPS). Empirical contributions on all NEPS foci, including methodological topics, are welcome; the analyses presented do not necessarily have to be based on NEPS data.
This year's program includes a keynote lecture by Prof. Regina Riphahn, Ph.D., a poster session, and the now traditional presentation of the EUR 1,000 "NEPS Publication Award" for the best publication based on NEPS data from the past year. Contributions can be nominated for the Publication Award until July 31, 2022. On the basis of the nominated publications, an interdisciplinary jury decides on the award of the Publication Award.
Due to the uncertain situation regarding the Corona pandemic, the decision to hold the conference in presence at LIfBi in Bamberg, virtually via Zoom, or in a hybrid format cannot be made until late summer. The conference will be held in English and participation is free of charge.
