In order to register the keystroke biometrics, a valid RemoteNEPS Supplemental Agreement must be concluded and an online training presentation with a few test questions must be completed. The presentation replaces the previously needed participation in a training course at the Research Data Center (FDZ) in Bamberg. If there is an application for the use of RemoteNEPS, a link to the training presentation will be sent after it has been accepted. Once the presentation has been processed, another e-mail is sent with the link to the keystroke biometric registration. As soon as the keystroke biometric profile has been successful created, the user can log on to the system – together with the user ID consisting of nu-number and password – and start working with the remote data processing via RemoteNEPS. If a keystroke biometric profile is already stored, a new registration is not possible.
