Last year she visited NEPS for three days, this time she is in Bamberg from April 26th to May 6th. On April 27 she presented PaD to the NEPS team, PaD is a longitudinal study, which analyses the social structures and social inequalities in Catalonia. The panel study exists since 2001. In the 10th wave which started in spring 2011 with 2000 households to be asked, the focus lies now on educational processes. Anna Tarrés is very interested which variables NEPS deploys to observe individual educational processes in the life course. For example, she would like to answer questions such as how to relate individual values with social practices or how to observe family educational practices and lifelong learning. Anna Tarrés engaged in scientific exchange, and advised the junior researchers of the NEPS team to answer methodological questions as well.
