NEPS tours 10 meetings and congresses of different disciplines both at home and abroad within 7 weeks

The NEPS appeared at conferences locally, nationally, and in a European and worldwide context. During the semester break in late summer/early fall, countless symposia and congresses took place. The interdisciplinary perspective of NEPS results in big opportunities regarding data analysis for potential data users. Paired with the possibility to communicate directly with our target groups, such as survey participants and gatekeepers, at these events, this led to a previously unparalleled presence of the NEPS at different meetings and conferences:

August 10 to 31, 2013: 108th Annual Meeting of the American Sociological Association, entitled "Interrogating Inequality, Linking Micro and Macro" in New York

August 27 to 31, 2013 : 15. EARLI Congress "European Association for Research in Learning and Instruction" on the subject of "Verantwortliches Lehren und nachhaltiges Lernen" (Responsible Teaching and Sustainable Learning) in München

August 28 to 31, 2013: 11. ESA Conference (European Sociological Association) on the subject of "Crisis, Critique and Change" in Turin

September 5 to 7, 2013: Annual Meeting of the Verein für Socialpolitik, entitled "Wettbewerbspolitik und Regulierung in einer globalen Wirtschaftsordnung" (Competitive Policy and Regulation in a Global Economic Order) in Düsseldorf

September 9 to 13, 2013: EERA (European Educational Research Association) ECER (European Conference on Educational Research) on the subject of "Creativity and Innovation in Educational Research" in Istanbul
