NEPS at the 4th meeting of principals at elementary and lower secondary schools (Mittel- and Hauptschule)

On October 19, 2012, a meeting of principals at elementary and lower secondary schools (Mittel- and Hauptschule) from all over Bavaria took place in the local Academy of Continuing Education for Teachers and Human Resource Management in Dillingen on the Danube.

NEPS, represented by Dr. Sarah Frahm and Dr. Götz Lechner, took the opportunity at the convention booth to get into conversation with more than 300 school principals about the importance and substance of NEPS. An assembly of school principals and, indirectly, therefore also of students from elementary as well as secondary schools, implies potential target persons from three corresponding starting cohorts for this longitudinal study. Over the course of the day, a number of useful discussions ensued, and they revealed that school administrators of NEPS schools are wholly convinced by the concept and by the necessity for the study.
