14 representatives of the different associations attended the meeting in order to inform themselves, ask questions and discuss with members of the NEPS team.
The goal was to explain the underlying concept and the added value of this longitudinal study that, over the next few years, will be delivering reliable information on how competencies develop and change from early childhood until far into adulthood, and how processes of education unfold throughout the life course.
The presentation focused on the most relevant topics for the representatives of teachers´ associations, namely the educational stages, "From Kindergarten to Elementary School," "From Elementary School to Lower Secondary School," "From Lower to Upper Secondary School," and "From Upper Secondary School to Higher Education/Vocational Training/the Labor Market."
