104th NEPS Data Training

The Research Data Center (Forschungsdatenzentrum, FDZ) offers training courses in German and English on the data of the National Educational Panel Study. The one- and two-day events are composed of different modules, whereby single modules can be attended separately. With the exception of the 100th training course on May 25-26, 2023, all events will take place online via Zoom. Participation is free of charge. Registration by e-mail is required, indicating the number or date of the desired training.

Basic modules provide knowledge on the theoretical and methodological framework of the NEPS study as well as on how to work with the data documentation. They support first-time users in accessing the data and in taking the first steps towards preparing analyses based on NEPS data

Advanced modules In-depth modules address selected topics of NEPS data use. The offer to data users ranges from assistance on general challenges of data preparation to instructions on how to deal with specific data packages and data formats.
