As the doctoral students' representation, we are there to support all employees with a doctoral project. We provide advice during on-site consultation hours (if circumstances allow), by e-mail or telephone. Together with other groups of people (further education, promotion of young scientists, works council, etc.) we try to further improve the conditions for doctoral studies and to represent the concerns of doctoral students to the institute management. We also see the social integration of new doctoral students into the institute and the networking among the doctoral students as central tasks.
