In addition to the administrative support of third-party funded projects, the Third-Party Funding Unit offers comprehensive support in planning and application as well as in the proper handling of the use of funds up to the final documentation. The aim of the department is to strengthen the research interests at LIfBi by providing advice and coordination of third-party funding activities, so that applicants and project leaders can implement project plans efficiently and in a goal-oriented manner.
Consulting - Communication - Networking
The work area advises the LIfBi team on the submission of applications to various third-party funding sources. In order to be able to offer targeted advice, the employees are in close contact with other institutes, universities and the funding agencies. The review of funding programs and funding lines is also one of the tasks of the Third-Party Funding department.
Planning and coordination
The work area also supports the preparation of third-party funding applications. In coordination with the department heads, we accompany the application preparations and coordinate the project requirements with the administration and the executive board.
Support during the course of the project
Throughout the course of the project, the department provides support in formal coordination with project partners and handles communication with funding agencies. Necessary calls for funds and supporting documents are prepared and regular information is provided on the funds available for the project.
