The personnel office is responsible for
- the application management from the job advertisement to the organization of interviews
- the personnel administration from onboarding to resignation
- the preparation and execution of payroll accounting
- processing business trip requests and settling travel expenses
- preparing references for employees covered by collective bargaining agreements and auxiliary staff
- supporting and advising employees on all HR issues
- preparing personnel statistics and projections
- the coordination of training at LIfBi

Reception is the first personal point of contact for all LIfBi employees, guests, and vendors Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
The main tasks are:
- Preparation of events and meetings (e.g. room booking, media technology, catering)
- Mailroom (including receiving deliveries of goods and registered mail, distributing letter mail, franking outgoing mail and documentation)
- Issue and procurement of office consumables
- Issue and management of access cards and transponders
- Contract management with student assistants
