The LIfBi Lectures series forms an open scientific dialogue platform across disciplinary boundaries and institute departments. The lecture series gives young scientists in particular the opportunity to network and engage in interdisciplinary dialogue in various formats surrounding the lectures.

In order to communicate our research results and transfer our scientific expertise, LIfBi prepares the most important topics and activities, for example in the annual report, LIfBi news and the newsletter LIfBi info. Our transfer reports present research results in a widely understandable way.

LIfBi researchers publish numerous scientific papers. The Leibniz Institute also publishes two of its own publication series, LIfBi Working Paper and NEPS Survey Paper, as well as transfer reports on highly relevant social topics.

Around 300 people currently work at LIfBi in the areas of research, infrastructure and administration. Our scientific staff is international and interdisciplinary - just like our research. Our expertise as an infrastructure institution includes the development of suitable competence tests and survey instruments, the administration of large-scale educational studies, and research into scientific methods of data collection and evaluation.
