Since July 2019, the Leibniz Institute for Educational Trajectories has been awarding the honorary status of LIfBi Research Affiliate to outstanding cooperation partners for their services to research at LIfBi. The awarding of the status by the director of LIfBi is a sign of close ties and an expression of mutual honor and reputation.

LIfBi Research Affiliates are scientists who have become trusted partners of the Leibniz Institute for Educational Trajectories through their outstanding research and collegial commitment.

The honorary status is initially awarded for five years.
